19-01 Holding and NOVOTECH Aerospace Advanced Technology are pleased to announce that they have entered a global strategic partnership, combining the unique know-how in the world of aerial firefighting and the experience in aircraft design and certification of the 19-01 Holding team with the expertise in integration of design methods and advanced manufacturing technologies from aerospace and naval sectors of NOVOTECH to contribute to the design of the modern WF-X multi-role amphibious aircraft, which will form the backbone of the future fight against forest fires.

Specifically, Novotech will be responsible for supporting technology readiness and preliminary structural architecture definition, development of detailed Structural Design, wind tunnel and tank

models, small scale aircraft functional models, certification test plan, aeroelasticity, and test aircraft noise.

Italdesign and 19-01 Holding join skills on the WF-X Project for Large Amphibian Aircraft

Italdesign and 19-01 Holding are pleased to announce they are working at a strategic collaboration focused on the development of the WF-X, an advanced Large Amphibian Aircraft designed for wildfire fighting and other civil protection operations. This collaboration combines Italdesign’s 60 years long- standing expertise in design and engineering with 19-10’s forward-looking approach to next- generation aviation technologies.
