Italdesign and 19-01 Holding join skills on the WF-X Project for Large Amphibian Aircraft

Italdesign and 19-01 Holding are pleased to announce they are working at a strategic collaboration focused on the development of the WF-X, an advanced Large Amphibian Aircraft designed for wildfire fighting and other civil protection operations. This collaboration combines Italdesign’s 60 years long-standing expertise in design and engineering with 19-10’s forward-looking approach to next-generation aviation technologies.

As a key partner in this initiative, Italdesign will contribute its knowledge to design and development of modular cabin configurations, customized for diverse mission profiles, augmenting the aircraft's adaptability, flexibility, and operational efficiency and to optimize of cockpit design using advanced proprietary UX tools to enhance pilot safety, elevate overall performance, and minimize workload during critical operations.
