19-01 Holding and Cubit Innovation Labs have entered a global strategic partnership

19-01 Holding and Cubit are pleased to announce that they have entered into a global strategic partnership, combining the unique know-how in the world of aerial firefighting and the experience in aircraft design and certification of the 19-01 Holding team with the best Cubit's expertise in IoT and Digital Twin technologies, to contribute to the design of the modern WF-X multi-role amphibious aircraft, which will form the backbone of the future fight against forest fires. Specifically, Cubit will be responsible for the design, evaluation and optimization of fluid dynamics, including water bombardment, wind tunnel support, tank testing, water bombardment testing, contributing to the definition of control laws and the flight simulator/digital twin of the aircraft. Cubit will also be responsible for the development of experimental electronic architecture for management and maintenance systems.

Italdesign and 19-01 Holding join skills on the WF-X Project for Large Amphibian Aircraft

Italdesign and 19-01 Holding are pleased to announce they are working at a strategic collaboration focused on the development of the WF-X, an advanced Large Amphibian Aircraft designed for wildfire fighting and other civil protection operations. This collaboration combines Italdesign’s 60 years long- standing expertise in design and engineering with 19-10’s forward-looking approach to next- generation aviation technologies.
