In February 2019 Mondovolo incorporated 19-01 Holdings in Italy as the next step in creating the necessary organization to manage the different projects underway. 19-01 will act as the full operational organization for all the upcoming activities that will be required to create a full value chain for the aerial firefighting and rescue activities. This comfortably put the projects within the domain of the EU where the issue of wildfires and training are at the top of most of the government’s agendas.

Italdesign and 19-01 Holding are pleased to announce they are working at a strategic collaboration focused on the development of the WF-X, an advanced Large Amphibian Aircraft designed for wildfire
fighting and other civil protection operations. This collaboration combines Italdesign’s 60 years long-
standing expertise in design and engineering with 19-10’s forward-looking approach to next-
generation aviation technologies.
